Job summary

Creative Speech Solutions, LLC, a pediatric therapy center with offices in Summit and Montclair, NJ, seeks a full-time experienced SLP CFY to join our team starting August 2026. The role includes evaluations and direct therapy for children in school-based and private medically-based settings.

Candidates must hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, NJ license, CCC, SLS, and CHR fingerprinting, with at least two years in pediatric settings. Evening hours; CFY has Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited speech therapy program.
• NJ State License, CCC, NJ School Certificate (SLS) AND CHR fingerprinting.
• Minimum of two years of work experience in pediatric private practice and/or school setting (including clinical rotations).
• Experience providing therapeutic services for children with delays or disorders across diagnoses and development levels.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule during the day and some evenings.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Patience, persistence and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• PROMPT/SOS Feeding/fluency and literacy continuing education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations and direct therapy for pediatric population in school-based and private medically-based settings.
• Code for insurance billing purposes, write reports and collaborate on treatment.
• Manage case work including IEP development and adherence to NJ special education laws.
• Occasional evening hours in office; Saturday hours three times per month for CFY year.

Creative Speech Solutions, LLC (a pediatric therapy center with offices located in Summit and Montclair, NJ) is hiring a full-time experienced & CFYs speech-language pathologist to join our growing team in AUGUST 2026.

Speech-language pathologists at Creative Speech Solutions (CSS) specialize in treating children with a wide variety of diagnoses and level of functioning.

The duties of this position include providing evaluations and direct therapy for the pediatric population in school-based settings AND in our private medically-based setting. In addition to direct treatment, responsibilities could also include coding for insurance billing purposes, report writing and treatment collaboration. School based therapy would involve case management, IEP development and adherence to all NJ state special education laws. A minimum of 2 evening hours is required in office. CFY positions require Saturday hours 3 times per month for the first year of employment.

Candidates interested in this SLP role at CSS are required to have the following:

• Master’s degree from an accredited speech therapy program
• NJ State License, Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), NJ School Certificate (SLS) AND Criminal History Review (CHR-which includes fingerprinting with the state of NJ)
• Minimum of two years of work experience in pediatric private practice and/or school setting (including clinical rotations)
• Experience providing therapeutic services for children with delays or disorders in the areas of various diagnosis and development levels
• Ability to work a flexible schedule during the day and some evenings.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills and a strong desire to work with children with developmental disabilities
• Patience, persistence and ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team

Experience with using any of the following programs is a plus!

• Certification or continuing education in PROMPT, SOS Feeding, fluency and literacy are a plus.
