Qualifications

Valid New York State Speech and Language Disabilities Certification.
Compassionate, collaborative, patient with students with developmental disabilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
3–4 month assignment with potential for extension.

Responsibilities

Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders.
Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs).
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create a holistic learning environment.
Fostering a positive, engaging, and inclusive atmosphere for every student.
Helping students develop crucial communication skills that enhance academic and social growth.
