Job summary

The TemPositions Group of Companies is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a school-based role in Long Island City, NY. You will provide therapy and evaluations, collaborating with families, teachers, and other professionals to support each student's goals.

Ideal candidates hold a NYS SLP license; TSSLD and PROMPT experience are preferred. The position is onsite with a Monday–Friday schedule and potential team meetings weekly.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Current NYS SLP license is required.
• Orthographic and professional documentation as per school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy and evaluations for students
• Address language, articulation, voice, fluency and auditory processing areas
• Collaborate with families, teachers and professionals
• Support IFSP/IEP goals and progress reporting
• Attend weekly team meetings and participate in multidisciplinary teams
• Complete required documentation and maintain student records
• Ensure safety and behavior management as needed
