Essentia Health in Minnesota seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, treat, and support patients with speech, language, cognition, and swallowing needs. The role emphasizes ASHA standards, policy adherence, and interdisciplinary collaboration across Ada and Fosston locations.

The candidate will manage a full caseload, develop treatment plans, educate patients and caregivers, and participate in discharge planning.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current license or registration to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• CFY candidates welcome; final-year students may receive a monthly stipend for up to 12 months before start date.

Responsabilidades

• Provide therapy evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, implement evidence-based interventions, educate patients and caregivers, and discharge planning for a full patient caseload.
• Provide all ancillary/administrative requirements for a full caseload, including documentation, billing, scheduling management, and other administrative duties
• Demonstrate professional communication, professionalism and supervision of support staff
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure optimal clinical and financial outcomes
• Work closely with Essentia Health leadership and coordinate with referring physicians for cohesive patient care
• Comply with organizational policies and code of conduct
• Meet professional organization core values, code of ethics, & scope of practice
• Support patient care across multiple settings (outpatient, inpatient, home health, skilled nursing) as schedules allow
