Job summary

Essentia Health in the St. Josephs Rehabilitation Department seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and implement care for pediatric patients with speech, language, cognition, and swallowing needs, following ASHA guidelines.

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.Responsibilities include therapy, documentation, scheduling, and education of patients and families. On-call weekends are required, with a day-shift schedule Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates therapy needs for pediatric patients.
• Plans, implements, and discharges therapy, with family education.
• Documentation, billing, scheduling, and other administrative duties for a full caseload.
• Supervises licensed assistants and aides and adheres to organization policies.
• Maintains professional standards and participates in staff education and onboarding.
• Occasional cross-department work and credentialing activities.
• Weekend on-call rotation approximately every 4–6 weeks, with morning hours.
