Job summary

Park Place Transitional Care & Rehab in Great Falls, MT is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our in-house therapy team on Montana's first long-term ventilator and tracheostomy unit.

You'll screen and evaluate patients, develop plans of care, provide ADL retraining and therapy, counsel families, and document discharge summaries with regulation-compliant practices. Montana licensure or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (Montana or eligible)
• All experience levels welcome; new grads welcome

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop a plan of care that meets regulatory and clinical standards
• Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practice
• Provide skilled treatment, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities and exercise, modalities, and supportive and assistive devices
• Assess progress, adjust treatment and evaluate outcomes
• Counsel patients, families and caregivers
• Communicate with your supervisor and the team, and complete a full discharge summary
