Job summary

Creative Solutions In HealthCare is seeking a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist to join our in-house team serving residents through person-centered care in Kemp, Texas. The ideal candidate holds an active Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology, has knowledge of current treatment practices, and preferably SNF/long-term care experience.

You will evaluate swallowing/cognition, develop individualized plans, and educate residents and caregivers while ensuring compliance and quality

Qualifications

• Active/Valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards
• SNF/Long term care experience preferred
• Current knowledge of treatment practices
• Ability to manage patients with different personalities
• Knowledge of Net Health EDS preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' swallowing or cognitive deficits.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to increase independence.
• Provide AAC systems for individuals with expressive/language disorders.
• Educate residents and caregivers and other professionals.
• Coordinate with other professionals for diagnostic swallowing procedures.
• Provide accurate billing records and clinical documentation.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with laws.
