Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to empower students and collaborate with districts on IEP goals. The role involves evaluating needs, communicating findings, and delivering or supervising therapy within educational settings.

You will work with ARD teams to tailor evidence-based interventions and monitor progress, ensuring access to education for all students. Competitive benefits and flexible scheduling available.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited SLP program.
• Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate needs: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for specialized therapy services.
• Communicate findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.
• Develop interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
• Provide therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor progress: Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
• Support team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and support students’ special education programs.
