Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Parkersburg is seeking a Speech Pathologist Fellow to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs under supervision. You will develop individualized plans and document progress in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

The role requires active licensure in Speech Language Pathology, CCC within 2 years, and BLS/CPR within 30 days. Inpatient rehab experience is preferred, with comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold current state license in Speech Language Pathology.
• CCC expected within the first 2 years of employment or as directed by ASHA.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
