Qualifications

• Must hold Minnesota teaching license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Driver's license.
• Experience providing speech-language pathology services in school settings.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-referral consultations with general and special education teachers.
• Oversees case management for students with speech-language impairments.
• Performs due process compliance, third-party billing, program data collection, and funding reports.
• Operates to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
• Completes evaluations including initial and reevaluations for communication disabilities.
• Oversees IEPs and IIIPs.
• Delivers direct intervention services in the least restrictive environment.
• Provides indirect intervention and consultative services to teams, teachers, and parents.
• Supports district literacy goals and participates in site-based duties.
