Job summary

Synchrony Rehab seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver a full range of speech-language pathology services in an interdisciplinary environment. The role includes assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions in line with professional standards.

The position emphasizes developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, collaborating with team members, and educating patients and families to support communication and swallowing goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Must have and maintain a current, valid state SLP licensure.
• CCC‑SLP certification from ASHA preferred or required.
• Current CPR certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders through assessments and interviews.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans with measurable goals.
• Provide therapy to improve articulation, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
• Educate patients and families about disorders, therapy techniques, and progress support.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology

State SLP licensure

CCC-SLP certification

CPR certification (preferred)
