Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist at Lourdes Hospital to diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders across all ages. You will conduct evaluations, plan therapies and educate families for home continuation.

Requirements include state licensure, CCC-SLP (preferred within one year), and BLS. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is valued. A robust benefits package accompanies a full-time role.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in current practice state.
• CCC-SLP certification should be obtained within one year of hire.
• BLS certification either at hire or within 30 days for certain facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess referrals, patient conditions and medical history to determine therapy needs.
• Conduct evaluations and develop discharge plans based on assessments.
• Administer and tailor SLP treatments for individual patients.
• Design rehab programs addressing language, voice, fluency, swallowing and cognition.
• Educate patients and families on home-based procedures.
• Collaborate with care team and participate in patient care conferences.
