Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for Southampton Medical Center to diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders across all ages. You will conduct evaluations, design treatment plans, and educate families on home implementation.

Licensed SLP in current practice is required; CCC-SLP is preferred within one year. BLS may be required at hire depending on facility. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of practice.
• CCC-SLP preferred at hire, required within one year.
• BLS Basic Life Support required or preferred depending on site.

Responsibilities

• Assess referrals, patient conditions, and medical histories to determine therapy needs.
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and discharge planning.
• Administer SLP treatments tailored to individual needs across age groups.
• Design rehabilitative programs for speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication.
• Educate patients and families on home practice and care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team and participate in care conferences.
