HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders. You will work within a collaborative rehabilitation team in a well-supported environment that values evidence-based care.

The role requires Texas SLP licensure and BLS certification, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a preferred Master's in Speech-Language Pathology.

Qualifications

• Current Texas SLP licensure required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities using structured assessments and clinical observation.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans that support communication, safety of swallowing, and functional progress.
• Document evaluations, daily notes, progress updates, and discharge summaries with accuracy and timeliness.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, safety, home strategies, and expected progress.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing and rehabilitation staff to support coordinated care and smooth transitions.
