Wellstar Health System seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate patients and develop a comprehensive speech/language plan of care in collaboration with the physician across speech, language, voice, cognition and swallowing.

Responsibilities include treatment planning, patient assessment, documentation, discharge planning, and coordination with families; a commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development is required.

Competenze

• Masters in Speech Pathology or related field required.
• SLP license required upon hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Mansioni

• Implements the speech language therapy treatment plan.
• Assesses patients and develops plan of care with physician.
• Documents evaluations and treatment sessions per guidelines.
• Provides discharge instructions and referrals to community resources.
