Job summary

TheraCare is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for Early Intervention in Queens, NY. You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language delays in infants and toddlers, creating individualized plans and coaching families for carryover in natural environments.

The role involves providing direct services in home and community settings, collaborating with families, participating in IFSP meetings, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

  • Current NYS Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP or CFY status with supervision available.
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Experience in early childhood or pediatric settings strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and provide speech-language therapy to children ages 0-3.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IFSP goals.
  • Educate and coach families to support generalization and developmental growth.
  • Document all sessions and progress according to NYC EI guidelines.
  • Participate in IFSP meetings and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical records and reports.
  • Travel to clients' homes throughout the assigned borough.

We are seeking Speech Language Pathologists to deliver therapy in home and community-based settings.

Position Overview

As an SLP with TheraCare, You'll provide direct services to infants and toddlers in their natural environments. You'll assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language delays, create individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with families to support carryover and communication development.
