Job summary

Encore Rehabilitation Services is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to provide quality evaluations and treatments for patients with communication and swallowing disorders. The role involves departmental collaboration and clinical duties under the direction of the Clinical Director.

Responsibilities include identifying and treating speech, language, and dysphagia disorders across all ages, supervising related programs, and counseling patients and families about management strategies.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC-SLP Certification and applicable State Licensure.
• Clinical fellowship year preferred or will be supervised by a CCC-SLP.

Responsibilities

• Screening, identifying, assessing and interpreting, diagnosing and rehabilitating speech and language disorders.
• Screening, identifying, assessing and interpreting, diagnosing and rehabilitating oropharyngeal dysphagia and related disorders.
• Screening, identifying, assessing and interpreting, diagnosing and rehabilitating cognitive/communication disorders.
• Documenting evaluation, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
