Job summary
The Valley Hospital-Paramus is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide quality evaluation, treatment and discharge planning for patients across age groups with cognitive, communication and swallowing challenges.
Education requires a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology and current ASHA certification with NJ license and BLS. Per diem rate is $63.00, with a day shift in Paramus, NJ and a comprehensive benefits package available.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences, Communication Disorders or related areas from an accredited college or university.
- Current certification by ASHA in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Maintains current New Jersey license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality, goal-directed SLP evaluation, treatment and discharge planning across age groups with cognitive, communication and swallowing disabilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care and accurate documentation.
- Discharge planning and patient/family education to maintain progress after therapy.
