Job summary

Small Steps, a part of the Sevita family, is a speech, feeding, and pediatric occupational therapy clinic seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist in Rhode Island. You will partner with families and clinicians to assess and support children with speech, language, and feeding needs, then develop individualized plans and deliver therapy in the child’s natural environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field.
• Current state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical reasoning skills
• Commitment to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team approach

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and support children with speech, language, communication, voice, fluency, social communication, and feeding/swallowing needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct therapy
• Document progress and coach caregivers to support carryover at home and in the child’s natural environment
• Collaborate with families and fellow clinicians to optimize outcomes
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
