Job summary

Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat diverse patient populations within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team. You will plan therapy, document care, educate patients and families, and participate in project initiatives to advance communication and swallowing health.

This role requires a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, and NC licensure (temporary license acceptable).

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) per ASHA.
  • North Carolina licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (and temporary license if applicable).
  • Previous medical setting experience; other relevant clinical experience considered.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and administer speech language pathology evaluations and plan and implement appropriate treatment.
  • Document provision of care and participate in special projects as designated.
  • Independently manage a clinical caseload and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide education to patients, families and professionals; ensure timely documentation.
