Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• CCC-SLP certification and NYS licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers tests of auditory processing and speech-language abilities.
• Scores, interprets, and documents evaluation results and recommendations.
• Counsels families on communication skills and options for improvement.
• Develops goals and plans therapeutic interventions for each patient.
• Provides habilitation/rehabilitation services and tracks progress.
• Coordinates with other professionals and refers to additional services as needed.
• Engages in research and shares knowledge of new therapy methods.
