We also provide speech language cognitive evaluation and treatment for both children and adults. The practice serves individuals across the New York City Metropolitan Area, offering evidence-based, patient-centered care. Team members collaborate closely with medical professionals to provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services. The environment supports clinical excellence, ongoing learning, and compassionate care for diverse patient populations.

Role Description

The Speech Language Pathologist will provide diagnostic evaluations and therapeutic interventions for individuals with voice, swallowing, speech, and language disorders in a medical practice setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering one-on-one therapy sessions, documenting clinical progress, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The role also involves educating patients and families on treatment goals, strategies for carryover, and preventive care, as well as maintaining accurate records and adhering to professional and regulatory standards. This is a full-time hybrid role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, with primary in-office work at the practice location and some flexibility for work-from-home tasks such as documentation and telehealth sessions.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Speech Therapy and treatment of Speech disorders
  • Experience assessing and treating Dysphagia and swallowing disorders
  • Knowledge and clinical skills in Communication Disorders and Language Disorders
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist in New York
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; a strong CF will be considered.
  • Strong interpersonal, counseling, and patient education skills, with clear written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary medical team and manage a full-time clinical caseload
  • Experience in voice and swallowing disorders in a medical or outpatient setting is highly beneficial
