Job summary

Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to diagnose and treat patients aged 0–21 in a fast-paced pediatric setting.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP from ASHA, TX-SLP license, and at least two years of pediatric experience; AAC experience is a plus, and Saturday availability is welcome.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA required.
• TX-SLP license required.
• 2 years of pediatric SLP experience (clinical fellowship acceptable)

Responsibilities

• Performs patient evaluations/consultations and interprets results.
• Provides results verbally to patient and/or family/caregiver and/or to referral source.
• Develops treatment plan in conjunction with patient and/or family/caregiver.
• Implements treatment plan and monitors progress on an ongoing basis.
• Maintains records as required by law, IDS policy and administrative regulations.
• Documents evaluation procedures, results, diagnoses, and recommendations.
• Attends and participates in continuing education programs as required to maintain licensure.
• Promotes speech-language pathology services within the community and the IDS.

We are searching for a Speech Language Pathologist - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will appropriately diagnose and treat patients primarily between the ages of 0 –21.

Looking for speech and language. Experience AAC would be great. Would be very interested in someone open to Saturdays.

• 2-year professional experience as SLP in pediatric setting (may include clinical fellowship but excludes training completed prior to completion of Masters degree)·
