Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time contract in school settings, 37.5 hours per week. You will deliver direct therapy, assess students, and participate in IEP meetings across two campuses in Houston, TX, collaborating with a diagnostician and a principal.

The role supports teletherapy as needed and emphasizes teamwork, documentation, and service delivery to diverse student populations in pediatric and educational environments.

Qualifications

  • Current licensure or eligibility for SLP-CCC or CFY in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience in school settings, pediatrics, or teletherapy preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IEPs and special education processes.
  • Ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Collaborate with fellow SLPs, educators, diagnosticians, and administrators.
  • Adapt therapeutic approaches in both in-person and remote settings as needed.
  • Offer consultation to teachers and families regarding communication strategies.

Job description

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologists interested in making a lasting impact within school settings. This position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, providing dedicated support in both pediatric and educational environments. You will split your time between two campuses, collaborating closely with a highly regarded team of professionals including an experienced diagnostician and a supportive principal at one location, while assisting another SLP with managing caseloads at both campuses.

Key Qualifications & Experience:
  • Current licensure or eligibility for SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Previous experience in school settings, pediatrics, or teletherapy preferred
  • Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and special education processes
  • Ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience supporting diverse student populations is a plus
