Job Description

We are searching for a Speech Language Pathologist - Velopharyngeal Dysfunction & Cleft Palate - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will appropriately diagnose and treat patients primarily between the ages of 0 –21.

  • Schedule: 4(10) Hour Shifts
  • Specialty Area: Velopharyngeal Dysfunction & Cleft Palate
Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients with cleft lip and palate, craniofacial anomalies, and noncleft velopharyngeal dysfunction
  • Provide speech-language therapy services (in-person and virtual) to patients from the Cleft and Craniofacial teams as well as other diagnoses
  • Maintains records as required by law, IDS policy and administrative regulations
  • Administers formal tests as needed
  • Makes referrals for other evaluations as appropriate
  • Promotes speech-language pathology services within the community and the IDS
  • Experience with Cleft Palate pediatric populations preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish-English candidates encouraged to apply (not required)
