Job summary

Dragonfly Cares is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist clinical fellow to cover a leave replacement in an Elementary School from now through the end of the year, with a potential extension. The role offers a flexible part-time schedule (up to 30 hours) at a pay rate of $65-90 per hour, with opportunities to support K-2 students and collaborate with the school team.

The ideal candidate will hold NY licensure as an SLP and NYS TSSLD, with pediatric/school experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid New York Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Active New York State TSSLD required.
• Pediatric/school-aged evaluation and treatment experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team.
• Valid licensure and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct treatment services to the K-2 population.
• Collaborate with other members of the school-based support team.
• Maintain documentation of sessions and progress toward IEP goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

Dragonfly Cares is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist clinical fellow to cover a leave replacement in a Elementary School from now through the end of the year with the possibility of extension. This is an excellent opportunity to make in-district connections and support school aged students for the remainder of the 25-26 school year. The hourly rate range for this role would be $65-90/hr based on experience in the field.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct treatment services to the K-2 population.
• Collaborate with other members of the school based support team.
• Maintain appropriate documentation of all sessions and progress towards achieving the goals as outlined on each student's IEP.
• Other Misc. duties assigned.

Requirements

• Valid New York Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Must hold active New York State TSSLD
• Pediatric/school-aged evaluation and treatment experience strongly preferred
• Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Ability to work independently in various settings and as part of a collaborative team
• Valid Licensure and reliable transportation
