Apploi is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist in New York to join our healthcare team. This full-time, Monday–Friday role offers a competitive hourly salary and comprehensive benefits.

You will evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure high-quality care while maintaining confidentiality and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy/Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Current New York State Speech Language Pathologist license.
• Ability to assess, plan, and monitor resident speech therapy needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' speech and language needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatments; prepare progress reports.
• Support rehabilitation for residents affected by illness or injury.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and confidential environment.
• Maintain resident records and audit department records as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Resident Evaluation & Treatment Planning:Assess residents' speech and language needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Progress Monitoring:Observe and assess resident performance, adjusting treatments as necessary, and preparing detailed progress reports.
• Rehabilitation Support:Assist in the rehabilitation of residents affected by injury, illness, or other conditions.
• Maintain a Safe Environment:Ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents and staff.
• Confidentiality:Maintain resident confidence by ensuring the secure handling of confidential information.
• DocumentationKeep accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress, auditing department records as necessary.
• Team Collaboration:Work closely with healthcare teams to contribute to a cooperative and supportive team environment.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy Program.
• Licensing: Current New York State Speech Language Pathologist License.
