Job summary

Therapy 2000 is seeking a licensed Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our home-based team in Texas. You will evaluate and treat children, develop family-centered plans, and coordinate care across providers in patients' homes.

Ideal candidates have a Texas SLP license, 3+ years of pediatric experience, and familiarity with feeding therapy or related specialties. We offer PTO, benefits, mileage reimbursement, and a supportive, mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Current/active Texas license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• 3+ years as a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience in home-health setting.
• Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or related specialties (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders.

• Meet minimum weekly patient visit targets set by the agency.
• Complete chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and related paperwork.
• Attend meetings with agency personnel to align expectations and standards.
• Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

• Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients' needs for therapy.
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients' caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of your patients' medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
• Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric speech language pathology.
