Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics seeks a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to empower students with communication challenges within schools. You will evaluate needs, share results with families and educators, and collaborate with ARD teams to craft evidence-based interventions that improve access to education.

You will deliver therapy or supervise assistants, monitor progress, and advocate for students in meetings and planning sessions. bilingual capabilities are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Texas license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Bilingual proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and identify therapy needs.
• Communicate findings clearly to parents and district personnel.
• Develop targeted, evidence-based interventions with the ARD committee.

Your Role:

As aSpeech-Language Pathologist, you’ll play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges and thrive in their educational settings. Here’s how you’ll contribute:

Evaluate Needs: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for specialized therapy services.

Communicate Findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.

Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.

Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and support students’ special education programs.
