Job summary

Robbinsdale Area Schools seeks a full-time speech-language pathologist to serve Sandburg Middle School (0.7 FTE) and Cooper High School (0.3 FTE). The 189-day calendar guides the position with salary and benefits based on the current Teacher Collective Bargaining Agreement.

The role involves evaluation, IEP participation, and direct/indirect services to support students with communication impairments in collaboration with general and special education teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• ASHA CCC or CFY eligibility required.
• Current Minnesota SLP license required.

Responsibilities

• Pre-referral consultation to general and special education teachers.
• Case management for students with communication impairments only.
• Serve as member of IEP/IFSP team for students with communication needs.
• Conducts comprehensive evaluations for all communication disabilities.
• Develop IEP/IIIP/IFSP including instructional objectives reflective of student's identified needs.
• Provides appropriate individualized instruction and supports to meet individual student needs in area of communication; maintain data on objectives related to instruction.
• Provide indirect and consultative services to teams, teachers, and parents.
• Due process compliance, third-party billing, and program data collection.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence or CFY eligibility

Current Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license
