Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for the 2026–2027 school year in Tacoma, WA. This in-person, W-2 position supports students in public schools with direct therapy and collaboration with supervising SLPs.

The role requires WA SLPA licensure (or willingness to obtain), 100 clinical hours, and an SLPA program or related bachelor’s degree. School-based experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State DOH SLPA license or willingness to obtain immediately.
• Completion of 100 clinical hours.
• Completion of an SLPA program or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students.
• Support implementation of IEPs and document accordingly.
• Collaborate with supervising SLPs and school team.
• Deliver services in compliance with district and state guidelines.
