Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a School Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year in Chehalis, WA. In-person, full-time role serving students in a local district, with responsibilities to evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy under IEPs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Washington Educational Staff Associate certificate or eligibility to obtain one.
• Must have current fingerprints on file with OSPI or be willing to complete.
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Provide individualized and small-group speech and language therapy.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Create measurable goals based on students’ communication needs.
• Track student progress and maintain accurate service documentation.
• Prepare evaluation reports, progress reports, and other required records.
• Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and multidisciplinary team planning.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers.
• Provide consultation and communication strategies to classroom staff and families.
• Support students with a variety of speech, language, communication, fluency, and voice needs.
