Job Opportunity: Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) at The Menta Group

Location: 6400 W Main St Suite 3, Belleville, IL 62223

Position: Full-Time, Salaried with Benefits and Paid Time Off

Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, following the school calendar

Responsibilities

1. Supervise students individually and in groups, monitoring behavior to ensure compliance with program expectations.
2. Provide educational support during moments of confusion, frustration, and emotional distress.
3. Develop and update IEP goals and prepare progress reports for assigned students.
4. Deliver speech-language services as specified in the IEP.
5. Maintain accurate, weekly-updated service logs.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant in Illinois.
• Ability to navigate school-based therapy effectively, with strong organizational skills and good rapport with children.
