Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (School) – Amergis, La Plata County, CO

Pay Range: $40 – $42

The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant assists the Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services. The role includes clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment‑related activities, working within the scope of responsibilities or plan of care assigned by the Speech Language Pathologist and/or physician.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an SLPA program with an associate's degree, or hold a bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology or communication disorders
• Successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or clinical experience equivalent, as required by state and/or contract
• Current certification or licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant in the state of practice
• Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Preferable: one (1) year of prior professional Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant experience
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X‑ray if applicable
• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
