Job summary

Soliant is hiring a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students’ communication development in a school setting. The role collaborates with a dynamic special education team to deliver quality services.

Flexible scheduling is available up to 35 hours per week, with both full-time and part-time options considered. Ideal candidates will hold a valid or eligible SLPA license in California, have recent school-based experience, and be adept at data collection and collaboration with

Qualifications

  • Valid or eligible SLPA license in California.
  • Recent experience with school-aged children in an educational setting preferred.
  • Familiarity with speech-language intervention techniques and data collection.
  • Ability to collaborate with SLPs, educators and support staff.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out speech and language activities designed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists.
  • Provide direct therapeutic services to students individually and in small groups.
  • Assist in documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records.
  • Support SLPs in assessments and therapy materials preparation.
  • Communicate with teachers and families regarding student progress as directed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP goal implementation.
