This full-time contract role collaborates with a licensed SLP to deliver therapy and help children build communication skills for academic and social success. You will document progress, assist with screenings, prepare therapy materials, contribute to classroom interventions, and participate in IEP activities under supervision while upholding district protocols.

Competenze

• Texas SLPA license required (TDLR).
• Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field.
• Successful completion of required clinical observation and assisting experience as per Texas regulations.
• Ability to work effectively under supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
• Previous school-based experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting a vibrant school community near Haltom City, TX. In this full-time contract role, you’ll collaborate closely with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services that help children build communication skills and thrive academically and socially.

What You'll Do:

What We’re Looking For:

• Current Texas SLPA license from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
• Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field (licensing requirements satisfied)
• Successful completion of required clinical observation and assisting experience as per Texas regulations
• Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
