Qualifications

• Current Texas SLPA license (TDLR)
• Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field meeting Texas requirements
• Completion of clinical observation and assisting experience per state standards
• Ability to work closely with and take direction from a licensed SLP
• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
• School-based experience is a plus, but enthusiasm for helping students succeed is essential

Job Description

Make a meaningful impact every day as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting students in a vibrant school-based environment near Hurst, TX. As an SLPA, your role centers on helping students develop their speech and language abilities, working collaboratively under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. With your expertise, you’ll ensure that each student’s therapeutic plan is implemented accurately, and their progress is carefully monitored and documented.
