Job summary

Platinum Therapy is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our school-based team in Coachella, CA. Work under a supervising SLP to support students’ communication, academics, and social development in a collaborative school setting.

Responsibilities include implementing therapy plans, collecting data, and partnering with teachers, families, and school staff to help students reach individual goals in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Current California SLPA certification/authorization required.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and families.

About the Position

Platinum Therapy is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in a school-based setting in Coachella, CA.

This is an excellent opportunity for an SLPA who enjoys working with children and wants to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication, academic, and social development. You will work alongside a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist and a collaborative school-based team to support students in reaching their individual goals.

What You'll Do

• Provide speech and language therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist

• Implement individualized treatment activities based on students’ needs and established therapy plans

• Support students in working toward their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals

• Collect data and document student progress during therapy sessions

• Collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, school staff, and families

• Help create a positive, supportive, and engaging environment for students

• Follow school, district, and clinical procedures related to student services and documentation

Qualifications

• Current California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification/authorization required

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to collaborate effectively with SLPs, teachers, school staff, and families

• Passion for working with children and supporting their development

• Reliable, professional, and dependable
