Caminonuevo is seeking a skilled individual to provide speech-language pathology services to students, working under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. You will conduct screenings and implement treatment programs according to IEPs, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
The role requires effective communication skills and the ability to manage student behavior. The environment may involve exposure to certain biological hazards, and district-wide travel might be necessary.
Provide speech-language pathology services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Ability to work with frequent interruptions and maintain emotional control under pressure.
Standard diagnostic and testing equipment; standard office equipment including computer and peripherals.
Frequent sitting, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, twisting, grasping, and wrist flexion.
Regular light lifting and carrying (under 15 lbs.); occasional heavy lifting (45 lbs. or more). May include positioning students with physical disabilities, behavior management through physical restraint, and assisting non-ambulatory students.
Possible exposure to biological hazards, bacteria, and communicable diseases.
District-wide travel may be required.
