Job summary

Qualifications

  • Requires earned Bachelor’s degree in communication sciences or related field with qualifying leveling courses for licensure.
  • Texas SLPA license or eligibility to licensure is required.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients.
  • Utilize evidence-based procedures to deliver therapy plans.
  • Document treatment sessions and progress promptly and accurately.
  • Educate and collaborate with families on home programs and goals.
  • Communicate effectively with therapists, physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment area.
  • Participate in team meetings to support a positive clinic culture.

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our growing therapy team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children of all ages and abilities, values collaboration, and is passionate about helping children build independence through engaging, evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide speech therapy services under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP).
  • Implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients.
  • Utilize evidence-based practice procedures to provide individualized therapy plans.
  • Accurately document treatment sessions and patient progress in a timely manner.
  • Educate and collaborate with families regarding home programs and treatment goals.
  • Communicate effectively with therapists, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative, positive clinic culture.

What We Need:

Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday

MUST be able to work after school hours 3:30-5:00 Monday through Friday

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in communication science disorders or other degree with appropriate qualifying leveling courses necessary to obtain licensure.
  • Current Texas SLPA license (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred
  • Pediatric experience
  • Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, developmental delays, sensory processing differences, and neurological diagnoses.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required
