Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to support K-12 students in Lafayette, IN, under the supervision of a licensed SLP. You will deliver direct therapy, assist with treatment plans, and help students reach IEP goals across classroom settings.

You must have a Bachelor’s in Speech-Language Pathology or related field, and be eligible for SLPA licensure. The role includes collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams, with benefits and ongoing

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech therapy services to students aligned with IEP goals under the supervision of an SLP.
• Assist in implementing treatment plans and documenting student progress toward established goals.
• Support the SLP in conducting screenings, data collection, and informal assessments.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to reinforce communication strategies across environments.
• Maintain accurate and compliant therapy notes, service logs, and progress documentation.
• Prepare therapy materials and adapt activities to meet individual student needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions as appropriate.

About the Role:

Provide speech and language therapy services to students in K-12 school settings under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). What We\'re Looking For:

Must Have:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Current SLPA license or certification in the state where services are delivered (or eligibility to obtain)
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background check
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred:

• One year of experience in a school or pediatric setting
• Familiarity with IEP processes and special education services
• Knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies
• Experience supporting diverse student populations
