Job summary

St Catherine Hospital Garden City, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, day shift with a $5,000 signing bonus. Schedule: 40 hours weekly, with 5 eight-hour shifts or 4-10s.

You will provide therapy to maximize speech, language, cognition and swallowing, document progress, educate families, and collaborate with a fast-paced, team‑oriented care setting that values professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Meets ASHA CCC or equivalent for SLP licensure
• Minimum six months experience with adults and geriatric populations
• Current and unrestricted SLP license in the state of practice
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities
• Document patient care and progress according to regulatory and payer requirements
• Communicate patient progress to supervisor and team; assist with scheduling and post charges
• Instruct family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
• Other duties as assigned
