We are seeking a speech language pathologist (SLP) to join our acute care rehab team at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina!
In addition to the core hours at Fairview Southdale Hospital, this SLP will be cross-trained at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville with potential to pick up additional shifts and float, pending patient needs. Both hospitals serve a variety of patient populations including neuro, gen med, gen surgery, complex medical/ICU, cardiac, oncology, orthopedic, and inpatient/outpatient video swallow studies.
In collaboration with patients and families, the SLP is responsible for providing safe and effective delivery of care within scope of practice. This includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, planning, intervention and establishing outcomes.
Fairview Rehabilitation offers a range of services that serve patients across 10 acute-care hospitals, 3 post-acute settings and 70 outpatient adult and pediatric therapy clinics. The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.
