Job summary

Barrow County School System is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an elementary school setting in Bethlehem, Georgia. The position is full-time, onsite for the 2026–2027 school year, with competitive hourly pay of $50–$55 based on experience.

CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply. The role involves evaluations, intervention, collaboration with educators and families, and participation in IEP meetings to support student communication and academic success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Active Georgia SLP license and/or educator certification as required
• CCC-SLP preferred; CFs encouraged to apply
• School-based experience preferred but pediatric experience welcome
• Strong communication, organization and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, OTs, psychologists, and families
• Provide classroom consultation and recommendations to support student success
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed

Position Overview
