Job summary

Oak Harbor School District seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluative, habilitative therapy and consultation for students with language, speech or hearing needs in our schools. You will collaborate with teachers, families and staff to develop IEP goals, deliver direct services, and coordinate with related services, with an emphasis on positive, evidence-based approaches.

Job description

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate with SLP endorsement
• State of Washington SLP license and current license for billing Medicaid
• Strong language development background
• Ability to evaluate and write IEP's
• Ability to relate positively to and communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
• Thorough knowledge of applicable Washington State and Federal rules and regulations
• Experience working in a school setting preferred
• Flexibility and positive attitude required
• Personal vehicle is required for transportation to various sites
