Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a on-site Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for PreK–12 in the Yelm, Washington area. The role offers both full-time and part-time hours with guaranteed on-site work and collaboration with district staff.

The successful candidate will provide direct therapy, perform assessments, develop IEP plans, and work with families to support student progress in a multidisciplinary setting. On-site duties include documentation and planning time.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Speech-Language Pathology.
• State licensure as SLP is required where applicable.
• ASHA CCC preferred or CF-SLP placement may be available.

This is a full-time and part-time on-site role as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) serving a school located in the area of Yelm, Washington. The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.

Job Details

• Full-time, 37.5 hours/week
• Part-time 20 hours/week
• October 2026 - May/June 2027
• PreK - 12 grades
• Job Duties: direct therapy, consultation, evaluations, case management
• Guaranteed Hours: including documentation, administrative and planning time
• On-site, in person
• Manageable caseloads
• Dual support from the District and TheraPeds
• $60- $70+/hour ($2250-$2625/week+)

Requirements

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD degree from a Speech-Language Pathology program
• State License as Speech-Language Pathologist
• Department of Education Licensure as a SLP
• National License: ASHA
• Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
• CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
• CF-SLP placement may be available
• Experience working with children
• Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in use of technology
• Fingerprint background clearance
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications

Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
