Qualifications

• Current licensure by NC Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists.
• Eligibility for North Carolina licensure through the Department of Public Instruction (DPI).
• Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or equivalent.
• School-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy in a K-12 school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Support articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
