Description

Under the general direction of the Rehabilitation Services Manager, the SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) Clinician diagnoses and treats communication and swallowing disorders in patients. The SLP Clinician works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team—including other clinicians, rehab nurses, and physicians—to create the best possible outcomes for patients.

Setting & Population Served

Providence St. Mary Medical Center is a rural community hospital that provides:

• Medical and Surgical Units
• Intensive Care Unit
• Inpatient Rehab Facility—CARF certified 8‑bed unit
• Emergency and Same Day Surgery
• A diverse patient population including individuals with orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post‑acute needs

Shift Details

Per diem / On‑call, Day shift

Wage Range

$43.64 – $67.74 DOE

Required Qualifications

• Education that meets certification, license or registration requirements
• Upon hire: Washington Speech Language Pathologist License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS—American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Speech Language Pathology experience
