Job summary

Soar Autism Center is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support pediatric clients aged 2–6 within an interdisciplinary early intervention model. The role emphasizes leveraging the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) to foster meaningful communication skills and AAC utilization as appropriate.

The SLP will assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy, collaborating with OTs, BCBA therapists, and other clinicians, while partnering with families to set practical, home-integrated

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP required or for CF position.
• Current license to practice speech language pathology.
• Experience with children preferred; AAC experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver developmentally appropriate speech therapy for children ages 2–6 in an early intervention setting.
• Develop and implement communication interventions, including AAC strategies and devices when appropriate.
• Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and coordinate treatment plans with OTs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians.
• Integrate communication goals into ESDM-informed early intervention.
• Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies for use outside of therapy.
• Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians to reinforce communication goals throughout each child’s day.
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on data and evolving needs.

Come grow with us as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Soar Autism Center. Our speech language pathology team provides pediatric speech therapy within an interdisciplinary early intervention model for children ages 2–6 with autism. Our care model incorporates the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a naturalistic, developmental approach designed for young children with autism. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you’ll help young children build meaningful communication skills while growing your expertise in pediatric care, AAC, and interdisciplinary treatment.

Role Details

• Schedule: Choose between available 4x10 or 5x8 schedules, depending on location and center maturity
• Base pay: $86,000.00 - $108,500.00/year per year
• Bonus: Annual performance bonus potential up to $3,800, with additional compensation opportunities for achieving clinical certifications

What You’ll Do

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required, unless applying for a Clinical Fellowship position
• Current license to practice speech language pathology
• Experience working with children preferred
• AAC experience is a plus, but not required
