Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for a K-12 school setting in Waverly, TN. You will conduct evaluations, support IEP development, and collaborate with school teams to promote student success.

This role welcomes both experienced school-based SLPs and those transitioning into schools, with a competitive hourly pay and full-time hours. W-2 employment includes benefits and professional expense reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Active (or eligible) Tennessee SLP license.
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based SLP services: evaluations, treatment, and consultation.
• Conduct standardized assessments and write evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with student needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students’ communication skills development.
• Partner with teachers, SPED staff, and families to promote carryover.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Adapt materials and environments to improve student access.
